#Chartreuse #Cardigan & #ColorBlock #PencilSkirt, Taupe Scalloped Ruffle Shirt #ootd

#outfitoftheday Sometimes I get inspired to think up a new outfit by my cheer laziness: these items were some of the few still hanging in the closet, because my most recently pile of clean laundry is yet to be hung up! So I put it all together and ouila. I think it's a fun thing to take a bright color like chartreuse and pair it with neutral but have the neutrals be in patterns. There's a lot going on here! But I think there's a good enough balance of extremes to make it all work. I also had very little in the way of accessories here: clear bead tear drop shape chandelier earrings, plain black belt, plain thick cloth headband, black flats. Ah, the art of dressing.

Cardigan was $5 at Marshalls, top was $9 at TJ Maxx, skirt was $7 at Target, shoes were $8 at Old Navy, belt from Full Blossom Chic in NOLA for $8, earrings were $5 at a cart outside of my mom's office in the greater NOLA area.
